The Leea Resort Darwin

Location was excellent. The premises felt secure. Staff were all friendly. Pools looked super clean, bathrooms were always clean. Our room was clean and everything worked. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great spacious room with two double beds - perfect for sharing with my friend.

Once we were in the main hotel we were very satisfied with the room and facilities. The beds were huge, the mattress and bedding both excellent, there was a fridge. The pools were lovely, towels available at Reception. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were happy for us to leave our cases for two nights while we went to Kakadu. And they resolved the issues with our first night's accommodation quickly. Excellent location for food provisions (Woolworths next door), and all downtown restaurants, shops, etc. Free parking.

We liked the pool area surrounded by palms, the convenience of Woolworths opposite, the quietness of our townhouse even though there is plenty of activity at the resort and being a walk or short Uber ride from everything we were interested in visiting. Were concerned that from photo that upstairs dark and hot but not so, could open windows, area had its own fan and split system. We would like to stay again next year.

Great location, close to town and just about 15/20 min walk to the Wharf where even more places to eat and drink are available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. While the decor and bathroom may have seen better days, that didn't impact our experience. We tried the buffet breakfast once, it was good and included several options. However, you do have a couple of good brunch options nearby (but be ready to spend a bit more).
